Michael Littlejohn

Michael is a seasoned senior executive, a driver of transformation and value creation, an entrepreneur, and a diverse leader with more than 35 years of experience with 3 global professional services and technology firms (PwC, IBM, and EY). SSG was founded by Michael in 2023 with a focus on delivering advisory services in support of sustainability and climate change. In his career, Michael has led multiple professional services businesses - the largest of which had 1,200 employees and $300m in annual revenues. Michael has also served as a member of multiple divisional senior leadership teams for businesses generating up to $2b in annual revenues.

Michael has served clients across the Government, NGO, Technology, Not-for-Profit, Education, Utilities, Transportation, and Financial Services market segments. He has advised global clients – throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East – as a practitioner in operations transformation, organizational restructuring, technology enablement, organizational change, and strategic planning. Michael also has experience with integrating acquisitions (primarily services companies) and divesting business units, and he has built and led the internal transformation unit of a Fortune 50 technology company.

Michael believes that his decades of consulting experience, coupled with expertise in helping clients become smart and sustainable organizations, translates into a unique value proposition for companies, governments, NGOs, and not-for-profits seeking assistance with their journey toward sustainability. He also knows that business disruption from the evolving
climate crisis, coupled with emerging regulatory pressures, means that numerous governments and businesses – especially companies under $1B in annual sales - need assistance.
